Chris Rose brings The HRC and its clients two decades of experience designing and executing strategic solutions in talent acquisition to drive increased quality of hires and retention, improved employer market position, decreased employment cycle time, as well as reduced recruitment costs. He has worked in both corporate and consulting environments, developing and leveraging stakeholder relationships to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, talent acquisition and selection process improvement, assessment and implementation of Applicant Tracking Systems, onboarding, team building, and management training. Chris has consistently proven his expertise to clients in workforce planning, creative sourcing strategies, strategic talent acquisition campaigns, development of passive candidate pools, streamlining sourcing methodologies, design and implementation of highly efficient and effective recruitment and onboarding practices, compliance and quality assurance, project management, vendor negotiation, and institution of effective reporting. He easily shifts from strategic planning to operational management to both hands on deck. Chris has consulted to an expanse of industries, strategies, life cycles, cultures, and organization size and complexity. Representative clients include Alltel Information Systems Boston Medical Center, Cengage Learning, Citizens’ Bank Sierra Vista Group, and Santander Bank.
Prior to joining The HR Consortium, Chris was based in Boston where he consulted to clients of Longford & Company to handle full life-cycle recruitment, partnering with leaders to increase operational effectiveness, market position, and their growth strategy. He preceded Longford as Sales Manager, Whitridge Associates where within a year’s time, under his leadership his team doubled in headcount, increased revenue by 65%, and improved profit margins by 20%. Prior talent acquisition and consulting roles included Director of Contract Technology Services for Hollister Staffing where he grew his division from 3 to 21 staff and by 240% in revenue, Director of Recruiting for Cue Data Services, Division Director for Robert Half Technology as where he rebuilt an underperforming operation into three thriving delivery practices, and Account Executive for The Computer Merchant Ltd. Chris began his HR career with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority [MBTA] as an HR and Training Representative, developing and implementing employee and management training programs.
Chris earned his B.A. English from Assumption College. He received training certifications for Organizational Diversity & Compliance through Employment Learning Innovations and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Chris currently volunteers as a youth sports coach in New London, Connecticut.
