Boca Raton, FL. The Human Resource Consortium LLC (“TheHRC”) has announced that Bruce Nichols has been promoted to Principal for his exemplary best practice leadership, HR strategic and operational consulting expertise, and organizational communications excellence.
Bruce has consistently demonstrated his commitment to TheHRC’s mission of advancing the HR profession and its impact to organizational performance and The HRC team’s creation of distinguished client success. His leadership is characterized by servant leadership, humility, common sense, and sense of humor with exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, strategic, operational and adept analytical skills through TheHRC’s ‘People-First’ lens. Bruce’s promotion was inspired by unsolicited recommendations from TheHRC’s team members and partner perspectives.
Bruce’s foundational learnings from Norwich University (oldest, private U.S. military school) and service in the U.S. Army, training paratroopers for the 82nd Airborne, served him well. It spurred his private sector career success to become:
- VP, HR Services and Employee Relations for Citizens Financial, responsible for 26,000 employees across 42 states where he centralized HR operations processes to increase service efficacy;
- Global HR Leader for Wheelabrator (former WasteManagement division), to develop a de novo HR function and drive performance and innovation for a $2B private equity acquisition; and
- Global HR executive in technological and operational growth and effectiveness for Liberty Mutual, a Fortune 100 company.
In his role of Partner, Bruce will work closely with the firm’s Founder, Regan MacBain Traub, to continue the firm’s geographic and team expansion across the U.S. while continuing to advance the performance of HR/People functions within financial services, healthcare, high tech and manufacturing, and service-driven (governmental, hospitality, nonprofit, professional service, and retail) organizations leveraging the power of aligned and integrated systems to elevate the performance and value of organizations by 4X.
