Senior Organization Development & Change Management Consultant
Ben Ehrenberg is a proven and gifted Organization Development and Change Management expert with over twenty-five years of experience within recognized, large healthcare, hospitality, and retail organizations. He has adept strength in integrating verbal and visual communications proven by his consistently successful, engaging, and impactful, strategic and operational curricula in leadership and employee development as well as change management which he conceptualized, developed, and delivered. Intuitively creative, Ben is also a visual communications and graphic designer, adept at building learning experiences and materials that correlate with and connect strategy to performance in dynamic environments. He has developed and implemented annual training conferences, re-invented sales methodology training resulting in 3.7% sales increase in year one, as well as blended learning approaches for sales, operations, and product knowledge training which reduced annual cost of training by $420,000. Ben also has redesigned onboarding and compliance programs to reduce time to productivity, LMS expense, and costs of labor.
Prior to joining TheHRC, Ben created and delivered high value to organizations internally including:
- Dave & Buster’s as Director, Learning & Development in People Operations with 30,000 team members and front-line managers. He supported Operations and Food & Beverage initiatives with a team of eight (8) design and development professionals, transitioned the LMS to Workday, created a Leadership Accelerator Program to support new store growth, and developed specialized training for team members in forty new or remodeled stores.
- Tenet Healthcare as Director, Compliance Training and Culture where he created and implemented learning strategies, development, and communications to ensure compliance across 107,000 employees across 61 hospitals and 500+ ambulatory surgical centers in the U.S; developed a training strategy by partnering with Chief Compliance Officers, Operators, Legal, and HR; transitioned live training to interactive e-learning; maintained DOJ and OIG regulatory compliance education; and partnered with senior executives to define Tenet’s compliance culture.
- Signet Jewelers as Director, Leadership and Organizational Development for 37,000 employees and $2M budget, having additional accountability for performance management, succession planning, change management, and merchant training.
- Blockbuster, Inc. as Director, Field Training and Communications where for over a decade, Ben transformed learning and development for this rapidly growing entity with 35,000 employees.
Ben earned his A.A. in Visual Communications and Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta in addition to Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia. Ben is also a Certified Instructional Designer who facilitates Situational Leadership and Wilson Learning’s Building Relationship Versatility.
